Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, and individual resident units in the Community, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values. This role requires a basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, as well as the ability to assist with apartment turnovers and maintain grounds.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment, assisting with apartment turnovers, and maintaining grounds. The Maintenance Technician must also possess excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to work with the elderly.

Requirements

  • Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong desire to work with the elderly
  • Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests
