Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of a property, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of all service requests and repairs. This position requires high levels of customer service, cleanliness, and marketability of the community to renew and secure new leases.

What You Will Do

Attend and participate in technical training programs, organize and prioritize service requests and repairs, inspect grounds and buildings daily, and maintain a superior customer service relationship with residents, co-workers, vendors, and the community.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to read and write in English at an intermediate level, and have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and plans.

Requirements

  • A High School education or equivalent
  • Ability to fluently read and write English
  • Accurately perform intermediate mathematical
  • One to two years minimum experience in community management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • EPA certification Type I and II
  • Pest Control certification (if performed in house)
  • Basic computer and Internet knowledge
  • Ability to use Outlook
