Role OverviewFederal Realty Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As the Maintenance Technician, you will assist in the oversight of a number of properties within our Baltimore and Laurel Area portfolio. The successful candidate will have the ability to enhance operational effectiveness by assisting in maintaining the integrity and efficient operation of all properties within the specified portfolio.
What You Will Do
Conduct site inspections, perform necessary repairs, communicate with Property Management and/or other members of the property team, build and maintain Tenant relations, and partner with Property Management to manage contractor progress.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in past maintenance position
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Skilled at using a variety of tools required for the job
- Ability to organize workload and work independently
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk a property 3 to 4 times a day
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Benefits
- Salary range: $58,000-$68,000 a year
- Equivalency hourly rate range: $28.00-$33.00
