Role OverviewSupport the Physical Plant team in general repairs and installation of irrigation and drainage systems, construction, maintenance and repairs of buildings and greenhouses.

Use a variety of tools or equipment, operate equipment, complete equipment training, and engage with staff to reduce workplace accidents.

Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
- Cooperation – being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured cooperative attitude
- Valid driver’s license – that is reasonably insurable through the company’s insurance provider
- 3+ years Knowledge of construction process and methods used in the fabrication, maintenance and repair of structures
- Knowledge of general construction practices and procedures involved in the maintenance and repair of building structures and underground utilities
- Building and construction – knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or other structures
