Role OverviewWe are searching for a Maintenance Technician for our Simpsonville, SC. This position will report to Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics troubleshooting and repair, as well as general maintenance and troubleshooting of injection-molding machines.
What You Will Do
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits, perform daily checks of injection molding equipment, and maintain plant facility and associated equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior maintenance technician experience required, with injection molding experience a plus. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and possess basic math skills and good judgment and decision-making ability.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States of America
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Authorize Background Check
- Must be able to work a 12-Hour Shift
- Prior Maintenance Technician experience required (injection molding experience a plus)
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Must demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability
- Must possess interpersonal skills and be able to communicate on all levels
- Must have a valid driver’s license, forklift experience or willing to learn
- Has basic ability in the following skills: welding; brazing; soldering, or silver brazing; refrigeration repair; machine shop training; fabrication in plastic; electronic repair; and/or mechanical engine repair, transmission repair, robotics
