Job Description
Perform facilities maintenance work involving two or more skilled trades, providing quality goods and services to customers at a savings, and supporting quality of life programs for active duty military, retirees, reservists, and their families.

Requirements

  • Responsible for performing facilities maintenance work involving two or more skilled trades
  • Performs intermediate level tasks and works more independently as training and experience increase
  • Maintains work order log and follow up as required
  • Reports status to supervisor
  • Logs trouble calls with contractor as appropriate
  • Responsible for a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks involving standard methods related to the operation and maintenance of facilities
  • Work assignments completed and in-progress are spot-checked on a daily basis via documented inspection reports
  • Recurring assignments are carried out independently without specific instructions
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental rules and regulations concerning procedures tools mechanical and electrified equipment commonly used chemicals and basic safe work practices is required
