Our Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks associated with the care of cemetery gardens and facilities. This position will work under direct supervision, individually, or with a team. Duties include gardens maintenance functions such as working with hand tools and equipment operation.
What You'll Be Doing
- General gardens clean-up and trash disposal.
- Clean and maintain storm drains.
- Repair lawn damage.
- Mow section and garden lawns.
- Trim memorial tablets.
- Replant landscapes.
- Apply landscape chemicals such as fertilizers, wetting agents, herbicides.
- Assist client families and other guests with grounds maintenance requests.
- Operate specialized equipment to move materials.
- Assist in completing interments.
- Assist in set-up and clean-up before and after special events.
