Role Overview

Regularly performs the full range and scope of maintenance and housekeeping services, including upkeep of buildings, grounds, fixtures, equipment, and guest rooms. Takes initiative to ensure all aspects of the facility are working correctly.

What You Will Do

Performs work in at least two of the following trades: plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, painting, and washer/dryer repair. Maintains work order log and follows up as required. Reports status to supervisor.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires minimum two years of experience with demonstrated skill in two areas, and knowledge of safety and environmental rules and regulations. Must be able to perform moderately strenuous physical labor, including standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and climbing.

Requirements

  • One year of experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of general maintenance practices
  • Three years of maintenance work involving painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs
  • High school education may be substituted for 3 months of general experience
  • Valid state driver license may be required
  • Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor
