Job Description
Role Overview

Performs intermediate level tasks in multiple skilled trades, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Works independently and is responsible for maintaining work order logs and reporting status to supervisor.

What You Will Do

Makes basic repairs to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, performs routine maintenance on washers and dryers, and conducts basic carpentry repairs. May be required to work on weekends and holidays, and may be recalled to duty or required to work overtime.

Requires ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor, including standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and climbing. Must have knowledge of safety and environmental rules and regulations, and be able to work in uncomfortable positions.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in general maintenance practices
  • High school education may be substituted for 3 months of general experience
  • Three years of general maintenance work in multiple trade practices
  • Recognized professional certification or license in one trade (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or painting) is preferred
