Maintenance Worker

Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained. This includes sweeping, picking up trash, emptying trashcans, and painting areas as directed. The Maintenance Worker will also be responsible for safety and security of company equipment, checking equipment for proper functioning, and resolving customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.

What You Will Do

Perform tasks such as replacing light bulbs, applying oil absorbent to oil spills, walking the garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems, and operating automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other electrical tools. The Maintenance Worker will also be responsible for shoveling, plowing, or blowing snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school degree or GED equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other employees in a professional and friendly manner
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with the parking customer, providing resolution as needed to customer issues
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
