Role OverviewUnder direct supervision, assist in routine maintenance, operation, and repair of public buildings and structures, and the equipment they contain. Conduct visual inspections of building equipment and conditions.
What You Will Do
Maintain, adjust, and make minor repairs of building hardware, furniture, shelving, and equipment. Replace broken window and door glass. Repair windows and sash. Make minor repairs to masonry, woodwork, flooring, and walls.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Selected candidates will be required to float throughout the Borough of Brooklyn. Must have three years of full-time satisfactory experience as a mechanic, journeyperson or helper in the electrical trades, the mechanical trades, or the construction or maintenance of buildings.
