Role OverviewPerforms facilities maintenance work involving two or more skilled trades, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Works independently and makes intermediate-level repairs. Maintains work order log and follows up as required.
What You Will Do
Makes basic repairs to sinks, faucets, commodes, tanks, urinals, P-traps, shut-off valves, and water supply. Performs routine maintenance on washers and dryers. Recognizes and repairs faulty HVAC units, electrical problems, and carpentry issues.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires knowledge of safety and environmental rules and regulations, as well as basic safe work practices. Must be able to perform moderately strenuous physical labor, including standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and climbing. Must have ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
Requirements
- One year of experience in general maintenance practices
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices involving the upkeep of buildings, grounds, fixtures, equipment, etc.
- Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds
- Valid state driver license (may be required)
