Role OverviewThe Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to semi-skilled routine maintenance, repair, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry and other related tasks. The Maintenance Worker works under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
What You Will Do
Performs general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, glazier, masonry, and painting tasks. Performs minor troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments of locks, cleans plugged key slots, and changes filters on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units.

Requirements
- High school degree
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors
- Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals
- Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, squat, and stand for sustained periods of time
