Job Description
Performs tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings, grounds, fixtures, equipment, and NEXCOM Hospitality Group NHG guest rooms. Typical assignments include simple painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.

Requirements

  • Maintains work order log and follow up as required
  • Reports status to supervisor
  • Logs trouble calls with contractor as appropriate
  • May be required to greet guests at time of arrival and offer assistance
  • Performs routine maintenance on washers and dryers
  • Identifies the cause of faulty equipment and assists in making repairs
  • Recognizes and reports electrical problems making repairs as appropriate
  • Performs basic carpentry repairs
  • Prepares areas and applies standard coating methods
  • Performs preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Maintains basic tools and equipment pertinent to the various occupations
  • Complete all required safety security training
  • Maintains compliance with local safety regulations
  • Required to do considerable standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling and climbing
