Role OverviewThe Maintenance Working Foreman's primary duties include managing complex maintenance needs of the facilities, determining the need for maintenance or repair of building structures, and performing routine maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services within a locked juvenile facility.
What You Will Do
Manage complex maintenance needs, determine maintenance needs, perform routine maintenance and repairs, and maintain annual preventive maintenance plan and emergency plans.

Requirements
- Knowledge of safety practices, OSHA standards, and building maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with types of equipment and materials used in building maintenance, janitorial, and repair work
- Adherence to standard preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate small engines, lawnmowers, snow blowers, power tools, etc.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions for assembly/repair
- Working knowledge/understanding of HVAC system, plumbing, and electrical
- Rough and finish carpentry experience
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in building maintenance, repair, and/or construction or in a building construction trade
