Major Gifts Officer

The Major Gifts Officer develops and manages relationships with individual donors and prospects to support WPSU's philanthropic priorities and long-term sustainability. This position builds meaningful donor relationships, connects supporters with WPSU's mission and programs, and helps grow a strong culture of philanthropy.

What You Will Do

Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, develop and implement individualized strategies, identify and qualify prospective major donors, conduct donor meetings, and prepare and present compelling major gift proposals.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a minimum of five to seven years' experience in individual giving focused fundraising or comparable relationship-based sales or business development experience, as well as highly proficient use of Microsoft Office software and CRMs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in fundraising, nonprofit management, communications, business, marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of five to seven years' experience in individual giving focused fundraising or comparable relationship-based sales or business development experience
