Job Description
The Major Market Sales Manager is responsible for selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing assigned accounts, and conducting site inspections. The role requires a high level of organization, discipline, and follow-through, and frequent travel to trade shows, corporate events, and other industry functions.

Requirements

  • In-house preferred; open to a remote Sales Manager based on the West Coast
  • Prior experience selling to group, association, or corporate markets is mandatory
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly effective organizational skills, including consistent and proper follow-ups
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge; knowledge of Hyatt systems preferred
  • Strong selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently for trade shows, corporate events, and other sales-related engagements
