Role OverviewThis position supports the Fleet Special Projects organization in identifying, developing, and deploying technology-driven solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and decision-making across the Vistra Nuclear Fleet. The role focuses on applying artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and emerging tools to solve cross-fleet challenges and accelerate innovation.
What You Will Do
Lead the development and deployment of AI and advanced analytics solutions to improve equipment reliability, maintenance strategies, and fleet performance. Identify high-value use cases across all Fleet departments to integrate solutions into existing workflows.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, data analytics, or similar) OR equivalent experience.
- 3–7 years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or applied AI.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one ML/analytics framework.
- Experience applying AI, data analytics, or digital tools in a business or operational environment.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on practical, implementable solutions.
- Ability to work across organizations and influence without direct authority.
- Clear, concise communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter who can identify opportunities, take ownership, and deliver results.
- Comfortable working in an evolving space with emerging technologies.
