Make Ready Technician

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to join our team at Mission at La Villita Apartments in Irving, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys transforming apartment homes into welcoming spaces for new residents.

What You Will Do

Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing make-ready work on schedule, complete painting, drywall repairs, cleaning, caulking, and general repairs to company standards, perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and maintenance repairs, assist with apartment inspections to ensure homes are move-in ready, complete maintenance work orders as assigned, and help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community, amenities, and common areas.

Requirements

• Previous make-ready, apartment maintenance, construction, or related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
