Job Description
A Mammography Technologist performs specialized X-ray examinations of the breast to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of breast cancer, ensuring patient comfort and safety while accurately positioning the breast for optimal image quality.

Requirements

  • Performs mammography testing and procedures on patients.
  • Assists radiologists as needed.
  • Provides age-specific care to neonates through geriatrics.
  • Maintains licensure and continuing education requirement.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient at instructing students and new staff members after 1 year experience.
