Role OverviewPerforms prescribed radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and initiative. Reviews patient history, educates patients, and prepares equipment and supplies.
What You Will Do
Positions patients, performs imaging procedures, analyzes results, and takes action to resolve image quality issues. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications, monitors patient condition, and reports/responds to changes in status.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, ARRT registration in radiography, and mammography certification within 12 months. Preferred experience in radiology.
