Job Description
Performs routine and diagnostic exams relating to breast anatomy and bone density to obtain images at a satisfactory level with minimal supervision. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.

Requirements

  • Two plus years’ experience in Mammography – preferred
  • Two plus years’ experience in Bone Density - preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Registry in Mammography (M)
  • Registry in Bone Densitometry (BD) through ARRT or Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) through ISCD
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
