Role OverviewThe Mammography Technologist Trainee is an entry-level training role designed to prepare a Radiologic Technologist for full certification and independent practice in Mammography. This position supports the Mammography department through observation, supervised clinical participation, and progressive skill development.
What You Will Do
Complete required education, supervised clinical experience, and competency milestones in preparation for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Mammography certification.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires completion of all training and successful certification within twelve (12) months of hire. The incumbent will work under direct supervision and does not perform independent mammography procedures until required competencies are met.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program/school
- Reg Technologist (R)
- Reg Technologist (R) (M) within 1 year
- Basic Life Support
