Management Trainee

The Management Trainee role will work under the supervision of managers and executives within the Company. Their goal is to acquire all essential knowledge to become a well-rounded, future leader within the organization. The trainee will learn how to assist current managers with all aspects of branch operations to ensure a profitable outcome for the company.

What You Will Do

Assists with coordination of all branch operations, manages upkeep and condition of all equipment, plant, fixtures, and recruits, trains, and develops staff. Also, monitors competitor activity, pricing, and tactics, and contributes to company strategy and policy-making.

The ideal candidate is open to possible relocation and has a minimum of 3 years in assistant management of a service, warehouse, or construction branch.

Requirements

• Ability to take initiative, own tasks, and be flexible regarding changing priorities
• Ability to understand workflow, identify process improvements, summarize issues, and make recommendations to management
• Experience assessing and preparing documentation related to operational processes
• Ability to strategically think through initiatives, issues, and opportunities while contemplating unintended consequences
• Strong communication, time management, and presentation skills
• Repeated physical effort, including driving for several hours per day or several hours at a time, standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Working from elevated platforms, ladders, or truck beds
• Operating hand/power tools, manual dexterity to operate keyboards and smart phones, physical agility to use arms, legs, and hands repetitively
• Valid driver's license required, will require passing MVR and controlled substance test, may require background and criminal record check
