Job Description
Manager position responsible for overseeing daily operations of the pool at One Light & Two Light, a downtown Kansas City urban oasis. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with standards, supervising staff, and recommending staffing actions. Qualifications include high school diploma, 1-2 years of restaurant management experience, and hospitality management degree preferred.

Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures
  • Supervise day-to-day activities of one or more food and/or beverage outlets
  • Plan and organize work
  • Communicate and enforce policies and procedures
  • Recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing-related actions
  • Alert management of potentially serious issues
  • Ensure all staff is properly trained and certified
  • Assist with creating innovative programs and promotions
  • Assist in monitoring performance of the restaurant
  • Maintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory, and equipment
  • Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs
