Role OverviewJoin Hyatt's Americas Communications team as a Manager to lead creative, strategic external storytelling for Hyatt's largest region, leveraging a regional PR news engine to drive awareness of and preference for Hyatt hotels across the U.S. and Canada. This role will support Hyatt's Classics & Essentials brand portfolios (675+ hotels) and collaborate with global brand portfolio communications teams to ensure alignment with broader brand narratives and priorities.
What You Will Do
Support management of brand-level U.S. PR agencies and regional PR strategy execution, incl. news engine storytelling, pitch development and proactive/reactive PR support. Work with cross-functional communications teams to identify and amplify storytelling opportunities aligned to brand and business priorities.

Requirements
- 7 to 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate, brand, regional, hotel or agency communications
- Proven experience in media relations, spokesperson support, and management of agencies or outside resources
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strategic, creative thinker with strong business acumen
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communications plans that deliver measurable results
- Strong judgment, integrity, professionalism and discretion
- Skilled relationship builder with excellent listening, presentation, networking and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive problem solver who can translate complex corporate messages into clear, compelling and actionable communications
