Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing and performing a broad range of asset management tasks, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and vendor relations. The assets manager supervises the supply chain supervisor and is responsible for the receipt and distribution of materials. This position interacts with vendors for equipment purchasing, qualification, preventive maintenance, and gas supply.

What You Will Do

Manage and perform comprehensive asset management activities, including equipment lifecycle management, maintenance, and inventory control. Develop and implement asset management processes to ensure equipment reliability, compliance, and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Five (5) or more years in biomedical laboratory, warehouse inventory management, equipment maintenance, materials management, requisitions and invoicing
  • Strong adaptability with electronic systems for inventory and SOP management
  • Supervisory skills
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory agencies' requirements
  • PC proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Understanding of work to be performed under aseptic and GMP regulations
  • Training and monitoring of laboratory personnel

Benefits

  • Annual salary $105,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
  • Benefits commensurate with local market rates for applicants outside of New York City or Westchester County
