Job Description
Texas Workforce Commission connects people with careers across the state. We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented professional leader to manage the Risk, Compliance and Safety programs for the Risk & Security Management department.

Requirements

  • Four years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency
  • One year of experience in an administrative management or supervisory capacity
  • Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications
  • Working knowledge of statutes, rules/regulations, standards, guidelines, and best practices involving the department programs in risk management, compliance and safety
  • Coaching, mentoring, training, monitoring, and quality improvement experience
  • Establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools to monitor functions and ensure department goals and priorities are continually met on time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • State agency experience
  • Certified Texas Contract Manager or Project Management Certification
