Job Description
Texas Workforce Commission is looking for a Manager to lead the Risk and Security Management department. The Manager will oversee subject matter experts, plan initiatives and goals, and perform HR functions. The position requires four years of experience in policy development and implementation, and relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications.
Requirements
Four years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency, one year of which must have been in an administrative management or supervisory capacity
Working knowledge of statutes, rules/regulations, standards, guidelines, and best practices involving the department programs in risk management, compliance and safety
Coaching, mentoring, training, monitoring, and quality improvement experience
Establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools to monitor functions and ensure department goals and priorities are continually met on time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
