Job Description
The Manager, Central Sterile provides 24/7 oversight and leadership of sterile processing operations, ensuring that all instruments, equipment, and medical devices are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained in compliance with AAMI, AORN, OSHA, FDA, and CDC standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved Central Service Technology course
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong background in instrumentation and surgical services
  • Familiarity with AAMI, AORN, OSHA, FDA, and CDC standards
  • Skilled in computer systems for database management and reporting
  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred
  • Current CST certification, AHA BLS, and LA County Fire Card
