Role OverviewThe Disposal Manager plans, directs, and oversees residual material management and property disposition operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling, storage, and disposal of residual production materials, surplus property, and solid waste. This role ensures decontamination, demilitarization, waste handling, and disposal activities comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while meeting organizational and customer requirements.
What You Will Do
Direct disposal of residual material and property, including disposal certification documentation, and oversee collection and disposal of solid waste refuse, contaminated trash, and decontamination of excess metals, equipment, and tooling. Utilize MRP key process indicators and data to determine production demand and drive disposal strategies, and direct activities in support of scrap sales and recycling program actions.
