Job Description
UT Southwestern is hiring a Manager, Education Program, Surgery. This position will manage the Surgery Education Office, working directly with Program Directors, the GME office, and overseeing Surgery education coordinators for the resident, clerkship, and fellowship programs in the Department of Surgery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 years of related experience, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Proven ability to lead employee development and improve performance over time
  • Skilled in redesigning business processes for continuous improvement
  • Effective management of multiple short- and long-term projects with competing priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable working with senior faculty
  • Experience with education systems such as MedHub, ERAS, E-Value, and NRMP preferred
  • Working knowledge of higher education regulations, including ACGME, RRC, and ACOG
