Role OverviewAs the Mgr. Embedded Software Engineer 3, you will oversee and coordinate the people, resources, and processes required to deliver software solutions. You will manage people performance, provide excellent staff resources to programs, and the career development of employees.
What You Will Do
Provide technical oversight of design, development, and integration of software components, engage with business leaders and customers, and drive sustainable continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical fields)
- 10 years of experience, Master’s degree with 8 years of experience, Ph.D. with 6 years of experience
- US Citizenship Required
- An active/current DoD Secret clearance
- 6 years of experience as a Software Engineering/Development Team Leader
- Prior experience leading a software development team
- 5 years identifying risks, suggesting mitigation, tracking defects, developing resolutions, and reporting status
- Working knowledge of software architecture and open standards in use by the defense industry
