Role OverviewManages the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and NOVEC safety regulations. Leads EHS initiatives and programs, and coordinates the NOVEC disability management program.
What You Will Do
Develops and implements safety plans, policies, and programs, including fire, security, and life safety systems. Conducts safety assessments and audits, and develops Emergency Action Plans for all NOVEC facilities.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of related experience, including relevant electric utility experience and experience leading people and programs. They will be able to function independently in a multi-task environment, and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline
- 7-10 years of related experience, including relevant electric utility experience and experience leading people and programs
- Certified Utility Safety Professional or Administrator, Advanced Safety Certificate, and First Aid/CPR certifications
