Manager, Events & Celebrations

The Manager, Events & Celebrations is responsible for selling, planning, and executing exceptional social events, including luxury weddings, multi-day destination gatherings, milestone celebrations, and private meals. This individual must bring each client’s vision to life in a way that is distinctly One&Only.

What You Will Do

The Manager, Events & Celebrations will be responsible for sales, planning, and execution of events, including building relationships with event planners, travel advisors, and destination management companies, and overseeing group contracts, room block allocations, pricing, and concessions.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end event planning, preferably within luxury hospitality.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end event planning, preferably within luxury hospitality
• Proven success in managing large-scale social events with high-touch service expectations
• Extensive experience preparing and managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), group resumes, and internal planning documents
• Strong understanding of budgeting, billing, and post-event reconciliation processes
• Knowledge of hotel systems, including Opera (PMS), Salesforce, Delphi, Micros, or comparable platforms
• Proficient in event diagramming software, such as Social Tables
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
