Role OverviewResponsible for leading Canadian tax compliance, tax accounting, tax controversy, and cross-border tax reporting activities for Mercedes-Benz North America Corporation and its affiliated Canadian entities. Responsible for supporting accounting for income taxes in accordance with IAS12 for MBNAC and Subs as well as all Canadian entities.
What You Will Do
Manage Canadian corporate income tax compliance process, prepare and file Canadian corporate income tax returns, and oversee tax payments, refund claims, and tax account reconciliations. Manage Canadian tax accounting function, review quarterly and annual tax provisions, and ensure accurate reporting of tax positions.

Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of overall work experience
- Must have 10+ years of work experience with a Big 4 or regional accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
- Must have knowledge of accounting for income taxes and corporate tax compliance
- Experience in a management role preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) with emphasis in Accounting or Finance required
- MS in Taxation or Business or LLM in Tax preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
