Role Overview

The Manager of Administration will oversee administrative functions for the programs: Ethnicity, Migration, Rights; Folklore and Mythology; History and Literature; Medieval Studies. The role involves strategic partnership with the Faculty Chair/s, cross-functional coordination, administrative team leadership, and resource stewardship.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include serving as a strategic partner to the Chair/s, coordinating support from FAS functional teams, managing local administrative staff, leading departmental administrative projects, and representing the department on committees and working groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of administrative or operational experience

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
