Job Description
Avancez Assembly is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee material procurement, production, and delivery. The successful candidate will develop and execute a material plan, manage inventory, and ensure efficient material flows within the manufacturing plant and to and from inventory or supplier.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 7+ years of Materials Management experience in the automotive industry
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Material Control Systems and Materials Requirement Planning Systems (QAD's MfgPro)
  • Working knowledge of material flows, layouts, packaging, and containerization
  • Ability to plan and analyze production requirements and implement supporting material systems and business processes
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and leadership ability
  • Highly organized and detailed to establish priorities, identify, and set goals
