Job Description
The Manager of Middlesex Emergency Services provides direct supervision and program management to Residential Staff, completes reports, collaborates with other agencies, and attends regular meetings. With a focus on the homeless population, the successful candidate will possess strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative or management role
  • Three or more years of direct care experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, teach, multitask and supervise
  • A complete knowledge base of all aspects of the delivery of residential services for the homeless population
  • Ability to work with diverse populations independently or in groups
  • General understanding of crisis intervention, confidentiality, boundaries, universal precautions
  • Able to foster a Harm Reduction philosophy within the work environment; strong empathic skills
  • Ability to work with improvement teams and foster teamwork
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Valid drivers’ license with a good driving history and daily access to an automobile
