Job Description
The Manager of Middlesex Emergency Services provides direct supervision and program management to Residential Staff, completes reports, collaborates with other agencies, and attends regular meetings. With a focus on the homeless population, the successful candidate will possess strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative or management role
Three or more years of direct care experience
Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, teach, multitask and supervise
A complete knowledge base of all aspects of the delivery of residential services for the homeless population
Ability to work with diverse populations independently or in groups
General understanding of crisis intervention, confidentiality, boundaries, universal precautions
Able to foster a Harm Reduction philosophy within the work environment; strong empathic skills
Ability to work with improvement teams and foster teamwork
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong computer skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Valid drivers’ license with a good driving history and daily access to an automobile
