Role OverviewThe Manager of Patient Services - Operating Room is a results-driven leader responsible for driving excellence and inspiring the team towards exceptional patient outcomes and operational success. The role involves managing a single major function or multiple smaller functions that provide business support to Nursing operations. The position is medium in scope or impact with less than 50 FTE direct/indirect-reports.
What You Will Do
The Manager will plan, implement, and evaluate processes related to performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence, and customer service outcomes within designated units/services. They will also collaborate with senior leadership and subordinate staff to achieve department, hospital, and DMC objectives.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and a Master's degree is preferred. They must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan and have three years of progressive Nursing experience.
