Manager of Procurement Strategy and Delivery

As a Senior Manager of Commercial Procurement Strategy and Delivery, you will be responsible for contributing to North America transportation strategy for our Redwood SCS Managed solution and the successful execution of that strategy. The role focuses on procurement RFQ, customer discovery, vendor strategy, baseline Reporting and summation, post analytics, results via strategic power point delivery, market context, and performance expectations.

What You Will Do

Responsible for establishing a vendor strategy of qualified carriers across modes utilizing both Highway and a Procurement tool to managed, develop, and monitor vendor relationships via RFP participation and delivery performance. Work with the post RFP analytics and strategy to deliver clear messaging on results as it relates to historical benchmarks, market benchmarks, RFP results, vendor participation and expectations in post procurement to Sales, Commercial, and the Customer.

At least 5 years of combined experience in carrier Procurement and Logistics/Operations. Solid understanding of transportation Carrier/Service Providers contracts, all modes, transit time, and networks. Must be able to speak and present to other teams and customers.
