Role OverviewThe Manager of Transportation Compliance is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and related regulatory compliance across the organization. This managerial role ensures that the company operates safely, efficiently, and in full adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations.
What You Will Do
Develop, implement, and lead a comprehensive DOT compliance strategy aligned with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Oversee audits, inspections, and investigations conducted by federal and state agencies; ensure timely response and resolution. Maintain current knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules, including Hours of Service (HOS), driver qualification, vehicle maintenance, ELD compliance, and safety reporting (e.g., CSA scores).

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree or JD a plus)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in transportation compliance and transportation safety management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role
- Extensive knowledge of FMCSA regulations, CSA, IFTA, IRP, HAZMAT, and other relevant compliance areas
