Role OverviewThis position is responsible for leading a project development team that supports the origination and project development of large power plant projects or programs of projects. The individual will manage the expansion of the development pipeline, procure Owner's Engineer and other project support services, and negotiate contracts. The role requires a leader with commercial acumen and a strong advocate for the partnering process with key stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Organize and lead an effective project development team, understand the requirements and contributions of critical team positions, and manage the development of the project vision and execution philosophy. The individual will work closely with regulatory functions, utilize commercial expertise, and support contract negotiations.

Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- 10 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field
- Subject Matter Expert in project and construction management fundamentals
- History of safe performance and active safety involvement
- Supervisory experience with direct reports or in a matrix organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management applications, processes, software, and equipment
- Understanding of Industry Best Practices
- Demonstrated cross-functional project leadership experience, team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor
