Role Overview

The Manager, Software Engineering is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, requiring a blend of technical knowledge, managerial expertise, and interpersonal skills. They lead technical initiatives, guide engineering teams, and ensure the successful execution of projects.

Manage a team of developers, provide feedback and training, assist with recruitment, and ensure technical initiatives align with organizational goals. Lead, coach, and mentor developers, set performance goals, and facilitate professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or related industry experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience in business process automation applications
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Tech Lead
  • 1-3 years of managing a team of developers
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in.Net, C#, Windows tools, ASP.net, and languages as well as modern web frameworks (Angular via Typescript, React)
  • Understanding of Relational and NoSQL Databases, preferably MSSQL and MongDB, data modeling, and strong experience with ORM toolkits
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, Domain Driven Design, Test/Behavior Driven Design, Event Driven via Asynchronous messaging approaches
