Role Overview

Manages Surveying and Right of Way activities for electric and gas distribution and/or transmission projects with a focus on distribution survey in the CenterPoint's footprint. Manages full-time employees and contract resources supporting Surveying and Right of Way. Manages Survey and Right of Way processes and workflow to meet service level agreements.

What You Will Do

Manages survey projects to ensure accurate, reliable data collection within necessary project timelines. Ensures survey projects are completed according to state regulations and company standards. Directs acquisition of rights-of-way, fee, easement, permit rights, and settlement of related damage claims.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires a Professional Land Surveyors License in the State of Texas. Requires at least eight years of experience in Land Surveying, Real Estate, GIS, or Civil Engineering with specialization in Land and Title Rights, and Document Management or equivalent education. Requires at least five years team leadership experience with focus in dispatching, scheduling and project management of team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Geometrics, Surveying, Engineering, GIS, or related discipline from an accredited college/university
  • Professional Land Surveyors License in the State of Texas
  • At least eight years of experience in Land Surveying, Real Estate, GIS, or Civil Engineering with specialization in Land and Title Rights, and Document Management or equivalent education
  • At least five years team leadership experience with focus in dispatching, scheduling and project management of team
