Job Description
The Managing Director, Litigation Valuation Practice Leader is responsible for providing expert opinions on the value of businesses, securities, and other assets in legal disputes. The role involves managing business valuation assignments, leading business development activities, and supervising staff. The candidate must have 15+ years of experience in business valuation, 10+ years in litigation support, and a CPA, CFA, ASA, or other valuation industry credential.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Master’s in Business Administration (preferred)
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in business valuation
Ten (10) or more years in litigation support
Direct testifying experience – hearings, depositions, and trials
CPA, CFA, ASA, or other valuation industry credential
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with Capital IQ and Bloomberg (preferred)
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to effectively manage a team of valuation professionals and delegate work assignments as needed
Ability to travel within the US and internationally
