Job Description
The Office of the Public Defender is seeking a Managing Public Defender-Conflict to oversee and manage all public defender services within assigned regions of the Conflict Defender Office. The Managing Attorney will perform a variety of difficult and complex criminal defense, administrative, liaison, and supervisory duties.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the State Bar of Montana
  • At least five years of progressively responsible management experience
  • Supervision of professional and support staff
  • Budgeting, organizational, and operational functions
