The Managing Public Defender position ensures effective and efficient legal services are rendered for clients represented by the Office of the Public Defender. This includes supervising public defenders, establishing office protocols, and carrying a caseload of representing indigent clients in various cases.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the State Bar of Montana
  • Previous experience in criminal defense is preferred
