Role OverviewThe Mandarin Teacher will ensure the day-to-day exceptional education of students by preparing and facilitating subject-specific lesson plans. The teacher will implement the established BASIS Curriculum while tailoring specific topics to integrate their knowledge and passion for the subject.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Mandarin Teacher include preparing and facilitating subject and grade-specific lesson plans, providing subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment, and implementing the BASIS Curriculum.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject matter, a valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A Master's degree and 2+ years of teaching/education experience are preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
