Role OverviewAssist with filling and/or packaging orders from the warehouse in preparation for shipment. Help maintain the warehouse and inventory of products and/or customer supplied materials. Assist with training and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Will Do
Pick or package a variety of printed materials or related items using a variety of packing procedures and techniques. Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work. Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders. Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental procedures and/or methods when completing assignments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures and techniques
- Ability to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions
- Basic arithmetic skills
